TOP 5 WAYS TO BE A ‘BEERFEST BATMAN’

I’m not saying I’m Batman, but, have you ever seen me and Batman in the same room at the same time? Of course you haven’t. Well, your chance to be Batman (or Batwoman, or Batperson, you get the idea…), at least the Beerfest version of said hero, is finally here! The Edmonton Craft Beer Festival returns to the Edmonton Expo Centre this March 10th and 11th and we’ve got all the reasons you’ll want to be part of this epic weekend!

BatPerson Reason #1 – Your ‘Batty’ Senses are Tingling – And why wouldn’t they be? In addition to the over 160 breweries, distilleries, cideries, meaderies, cocktails and RTD (ready to drink beverages) you can sample at the festival, you’ll also be able to taste delicious food from over 15 fantastic local pubs, restaurants, and eateries. Yummy is spelled B-E-E-R-F-E-S-T!

BatPerson Reason #2 – Chill In A Lounge Like Its Wayne Manor – There has never been so many lounge options at Beerfest! You could win a Banff Adventure in the Tastely Lounge, vibe to the DJs spinning in the Craft, Sled Island and SYC lounges, shoot hoops with the Stingers and watch the game on the big screens in the Sports Lounge, or feel the live jams in the Sherlock Holmes lounge. The Brew Master Seminars allow you to hear the stories behind the brewers, the breweries, and the beers – all while sampling some of their amazing libations. While at the Cooking with Beer Seminars you’ll learn how to pair beer with food and also use beer as an ingredient in your own recipes…oh and you get to enjoy the nosh too! 

BatPerson Reason #4 – Superheroes Love to Give Back – This year, we’ll once again be supporting WIN House and the Mental Health Assc. as our charities of choice – just by coming out to the event, you’ll be helping make great things happen for these amazing organizations.  ABF has donated tickets to help with fundraising to over 70 Alberta charities and have helped raise over $300,000 for our charities of choice.
