Please Bring a Non-Perishable Food Item to #YEGBeerfest

Edmonton’s Food Bank, our charity involved with the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival is asking that everyone attending this year, to please bring a non-perishable food item for their donation bin at the festival.

Each month, more than 15,000 people receive food hampers from Edmonton’s Food Bank. The Food Bank also distributes more than 410,000 meals and snacks each month through churches or food depots with which they are affiliated. Approximately 40 per cent of their clients served are children under 18. Those are staggering statistics. We at Alberta Beer Festivals feel privilaged to be partnering with such a worthwhile cause in Edmonton. We ask that you please bring a non-parishable food item to donate when attending the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival this year.
