You Could ‘Be the Brewer’ for ABF’s Spring Festival Beer!

Have you ever thought it would be cool to own your own brewery and brew your own beer? The ‘BE THE BREWER’ Contest gives you the opportunity to see what it would be like – without having to quit your day job; at least not yet.

We want YOU to experience the journey a brewer and brewery take every time they create a beer. Every year, ABF teams up with the Brew Master Program at Olds College to brew a beer for our spring festivals – and this year we want you to take part in the different stages by being part of the BE THE BREWER CONTEST: CHOOSE the style, NAME the beer, DESIGN the beer label, CREATE the print ad, SHOOT the beer commercial (it’s a video – please no actual shooting). There are some fantastic prizes, and winners of the first 3 stages will be invited to help be part of the brewing of the beer!  Then, next spring when you visitBeer University at either the Calgary International Beerfest (May 6 & 7), or the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival (June 3 & 4), you can brag to all your friends that you were one of the ‘brewers’ that made the beer being poured in BeerU!
