Capturing the essence of what it feels like to travel is what Alberta Beer Festivals has done with their fall event – THE MASHING – Spirit/Cider/Beer Festival. From the moment you walk in, you get the sense you are somewhere special. “Everyone at ABF love to travel. I’ve been to 84 countries, and every one of them has felt special. That’s the feeling we wanted to capture with THE MASHING. We believe an event should be fun and help you get out of your day to day – even just for a little while. If you haven’t been to THE MASHING before, it’s hard to put into words because there is just so much going on. “We’ve completely turned the concept of the sampling event on its head. We really wanted to mix things up,” adds Mark Kondrat, CEO of Alberta Beer Festivals.
