#YYCBeerfest. Now, there’s an app for that!

Alberta Beer Festivals is pleased to announce a significant update to their Calgary Beerfest app on the iTunes App Store, and Google Play Store! Rather than have festival goers download an app for each festival in 2014. Craft beer lovers can now download the Alberta Beer Festival app, which now has a section for each festival. You can preview the floor plan in a map layout, or view by lists to easily find which vendor, and brewery you’d like to see at any one of the Alberta Beer Festivals lineup of amazing beer related shows in 2014!

New in this edition is push notifications, which will update festival goers to the schedules for both the Cooking with Beer Seminars, presented by Culinaire Magazine and the Brew Master Seminars hosted by Craft Beer Market. Also new this year, you’ll be able to “pin” your favourite brewery to a list of favourites for easy reference.

The iPhone and iPad version was soft-launched over the weekend to a great review from those who were searching through the iTunes App Store. You can download the app on the iTunes App Store here.
